Oettinger VW

OETTINGER grants the first cautious views of one of its best kept secrets: the aerodynamic package for the Golf V. „We deliberately waited because we wanted to gauge the trends and wishes of our potential customers as well as Volkswagens model politic for its most important model“ stated OETTINGER Press spokesman Philip Dorian Blau.

What has emerged are two sporty-elegant packages whose front skirts not only fit the standard five, but also the GTI and R32 versions.

„Many things must be taken into account when one works with our high quality and technical standards...“ Blau adds „...there are 4 fog lamp versions within the range, different radiator grilles for the standard, GTI and R32, the optimal air flow to the Naca ducts for the various engine versions and adequate cooling for vehicles with engine must be taken into consideration.“

But as is to be expected, the team from Friedrichsdorf have mastered all the challenges and guarantee the material quality and fit of the components with OEM standard (RIM), whose presence in the rear view mirror is as impressive as ever. For the front, the customer can choose between two radiator grilles, a front spoiler and a complete front skirt . With this, OETTINGER is continuing the philosophy of their successful programme for the Golf 4 in offering a big and a small version. The style presented by both fronts can be further enhanced with side skirts (set), rear apron and a tailgate spoiler which allows use of the third brake light.

This means that the GTI customer, for example, can choose whether he wants to combine the new OETTINGER front skirt with his original grille or with one from OETTINGER. The larger air intakes provide ample room for the installation of additional intercoolers for more comprehensive engine conversions.
